ATES - Área Transversal de Economia Social
Área Transversal de Economia Social (ATES, or Cross-cutting Area for Social Economy) is an interdisciplinary structure that organises collaborative work between lecturers, researchers and students from various units of the Porto Regional Centre. It operates under the Presidency of this Centre, which established it on 14 October 2011, with the mission of identifying, preparing and implementing projects and services that strengthen the social economy sector, promote local development, and uphold inclusion and Human Rights.
