Library
The Paraíso Library’s mission is to provide the information resources required by the Universidade Católica Portuguesa community in Porto to fulfil its objectives in the areas of study, teaching, research and community engagement, as well as to promote the development of skills in information searching, retrieval, access, critical evaluation and organisation.
Given the specific nature of its documentary collections and the responsibilities established with external entities, the library houses independent collections with their own documentary holdings. From an organisational perspective, however, access and services are managed in an integrated manner by the Library.
