Alumni

Dear Alumni,

Since I took over as President of the Porto Regional Centre and now as Pro-Rector, I have believed that we should involve Alumni more and more in the life of our University.

As an alumna myself, I know what Católica means to all of us. A ‘home’ that formed us at a crucial time in our lives, where we learnt to do, to know and to be. We learnt from teachers, from colleagues and from the very soul of the Catholic University in Porto.

As Pro-Rector for the Porto Regional Centre of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, I recognise the invaluable role that alumni can play in the development of their faculties of origin, of the new generations, in the relationship between colleagues from other areas of knowledge, in the construction of the true concept of the University that is made up of the integration of the different worldviews that make it up.

That's why we have the Partnerships, Alumni and Employability Department in Porto, which contributes to this relationship that we want to stimulate and make grow. We make room for and support what each Faculty wants to develop with its Alumni, stimulating existing Alumni Associations.

Know that you always have a place at Católica!
