We have a multidisciplinary, open, sustainable, collaborative, safe and welcoming campus. Access to all the buildings and surrounding areas of the campus, such as the green spaces, is open to the entire community. Services and features that are at the service of all students, staff and visitors alike!

The Porto campus has coffee shops (cafeteria and light meals): Bar Bio, Bar Central, Bar das Artes; Canteen and Restaurant; microwaves are also available for general use in the Bar das Artes and the Academic Area. There are also vending machines in various locations.

- Central Bar: Monday to Friday - 08 am – 09 pm | Saturday – 08 am – 01 pm
- Artes Bar: Monday to Friday – 09 am - 06 pm
- Bio Bar: Monday to Friday – 09 am – 05 pm
- Monday to Friday – 12 am – 03 pm
- Restaurant: Monday to Friday – 10 am – 06 pm
The Porto campus is open almost 24/24 hours*, practically every day of the year**.
From 11 pm onwards, you will need to identify yourself with your Student Card.
Most of University services are closed on weekends, public holidays and the 2nd and 3rd weeks of August. The Applicants' Shop is open throughout August.
* between 06 am and 08 am the spaces are closed for cleaning maintenance
** except for days during the Christmas, New Year and Easter periods and from July 15th to September 15th, the opening hours of which are duly communicated at the main entrances.
Self-Service Printing and Copying System
This service is available in self-service format and is accessible on all the multifunctional equipment distributed throughout the Campus.
Using your login@catolica or your student card* you can:
- print/photocopy in black/white and color
- scan to PEN, email and Onedrive (except in the Library)

In order to start using this service, you must first top up your account at the coin machine in the main hall.
The print order can be given wirelessly, at Católica, from home, from your computer or from the computer labs.

On campus you'll find the Stationary Shop at the Central Building / Academic Area where you can order photocopies. You may order by email to copy.porto@ucp.pt.

Central Building
Floor -1
On the first floor of the Central Building there is a Study Room with lighting and sockets specifically dedicated to studying. This room is open 24 hours a day.
The Academic Area, located on floor -1 in the central building, is also a study area, except at meal times.
There are several other areas scattered around the campus. Please note that it is your responsibility to protect the integrity of your belongings. Take them with you when you go away!
In the week evenings, on Saturday, from 2 pm, and on Sundays some other rooms may be available for study purpose.
