Students and Employability
The Students and Employability Service (EE) at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto supports students' academic, personal and professional journeys. We believe that the well-being, development and integration of students into the world of work begins here - with close, human and personalized support.
We work closely with students, alumni and employers, creating bridges between their academic career and their professional future. Within a close relationship with the Faculties and Services of the UCP-Porto campus.
The Service's team is made up of members with specialized training in each of the areas of intervention.
What we do
Solutions adapted to the student's reality, working daily to ensure that financial obstacles don't define the academic path of those who come to us.
Free and confidential psychological consultations with specialized professionals integrated into the Porto campus.
Assessment and implementation of support measures in an academic context to guarantee fairness in the learning and assessment process.
Workshops, mentoring dynamics and training aimed at self-knowledge, transversal skills and preparation for the job market.
Personalized meetings to optimize CVs, LinkedIn, Application Letters, Motivation Letters, preparation for recruitment processes or job interviews, approaches to companies and organizations, and specific positioning on the job market.
Support for procedures to attract and formalize internships for various courses and academic units.
Exclusive access for UCP - Porto students and alumni to job offers, internships and volunteering opportunities, with personalized support.
Regular initiatives for direct contact with companies, recruitment workshops and networking sessions. Main activity: RUMO (and its several splits: Lawyers, Health, International Institutions)
Our commitment is to accompany students at every stage: from the beginning of their university life to integration into the labor market, promoting equal opportunities and developing transversal skills.
